Born in Jones County, he was the eldest of seven sons born to Mr. and Mrs. Will and Ida Person Freeman. He lived in Macon his entire adult life. He was a faithful member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church where he served as a member of the Trustee Board and the Friendship Club. He was a retired employee of the Southern Railroad Company. He was a member of Union Brothers and Sisters of Love Society. He was the widower of Mrs. Ola Mae Reid Freeman. He leaves to mourn his passing; nieces, Mrs. Annie Ruth Wilder, Mrs. Ida Bell Early, Ms. Delores Freeman, Ms. Mamie Freeman of Macon, Mrs. Eddie Mae Collins, East Orange, N.J., Mrs. Gladys Taylor, Ms. Bernice Freeman, Chicago, Ill.; Nephews, Eddie Freeman and Earnest Freeman, Jr., Chicago, Ill. and James Freeman, Jr., Kansas City, Mo.; Devoted god children, Mrs. Ursula M.
