Miss Me, But Let Me Go
When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room. Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little but not too long And not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's plan,
A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick ofheart
Go to the friends we know And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss me, but let me go!

Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat uietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a floral piece, if so we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say. Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so much, whatever the part.
The family extends thanks to everyone who showed love to us during our bereavement.

Our MATRIARCH

We LOVED our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and auntie.

JoAnn, she was called. Strong-willed, strong-minded, and very impressive to

say the least. You did what GOD put you in charge to do, play that major role

in each of our lives. No matter how you delivered it or how peculiar it may

have seemed, we received and accepted it, in our own extraordinary way.

GOD then called down to you, our dear MATRIARCH and told y he was

ready for you to come home. You did not hesitate to tell him you

ready

a long time ago, but you knew your family would have a hard

etting

you go. You have earned your wings now and flew away from us, feaving us

with many memories to share. We are hurt and crying that we will not be able

to physi~ally touch you and see your bright smile that lightened up our days

or have a conversation with you on your cell phone today. We know as the

MATRIARCH of the family there are a few of us up in heaven too, they were

ready to see you again, just as well as we will too. "We Thank You".
