 Charlene Linda Few was 
born in Barnesville, Georgia on January 27, 1953. Her twin brother, Charles, preceded her in death. Charlene was one of four children born to the late Harry and Ruby Few. 
Charlene attended E.R. Carter Elementary School where she was introduced to numerous musical instruments. The French horn was her favorite, and she became very proficient in the elementary band at E.R. Carter. 
Charlene and her twin, Charles, were members of the second graduating class at Douglass High School. It was her performance in the marching band that earned her a music scholarship at Morris Brown College. 
Charlene was a proud member of the marching band. She performed in many events such as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City. 
Charlene was employed by the Adanta Board of Education as a band teacher. She worked at several elementary schools before moving to Washington D.C. It was during this time that the difficulty of moving her feet and seeing double was diagnosed as Multiple Sclerosis. 
Charlene had unconditional love for her nephews Bernie, Robbie, Jerold and her nieces Michelle and Monica. She spoiled them and bragged to others about how smart they were. Charlene was the favorite aunt who always had treats for her nephews and nieces. It was always an adventure with Aunt Charlene. 
 
For the last 8 years, Charlene had been confined to Signature Healthcare of Buckhead. She made her transition on April 12, 2017. Charlene leaves to mourn her memory: sister, Harriet Williams Gohn); brother, James Few (Evelyn); nephews, Charles B. Few Gay Amina), James Robert Few and Jerold Few; nieces, Michelle Williams and Monica Williams Games Dator), great nieces, a great nephew, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
