11 OUR DEEDS are seeds o fate, sown here on earth, but bringing forth their harvest in eternity. 11 Tymes Rhodolphus Epps, Sr. late of 390 Emery Highway, departed this life 
Thursday morning, Apri I 30, J970. He was born February 22, 1888 to the parentage of_the late Mrs. Amanda and John 
Epps in Tolbert County. At a~ early age he ioined the Baptist Church and has served in some phase of church work every since; including Sunday Schobl superintendent, chairman of the Deacon Board, and secretpry of the Baptist Missionary Convention for more than twenty-five years. 
Mr. Epps was joined in '*arriage to Miss Annie Hudson of Burke County. To this unidn was born three sons, Tymes . Rhodolphus Epps, Jr., Alonza Leroy Epps, and John Wesley 
Epps; and three daughters, fv4rs. Ann E. Stroud, Miss Juanita 
Epps, and Jt.Ars. Alva E. Bail~y. In the world of work Mr. Epps distinguished himself. As 
an instructor at the Georgia Baptist College he was noted for his keen knowledge of Latin, Greek and Hebrew. In pub Iic education he held the principalship of several schools including the Green Street Elementary School of f.Aacon. In insurance he served as manager of the Macon District of North Carolina Mutual Insurance Company for a long number of years and holding the distinct honor of having the top district in the company for a period of time. 
Mr. Epps was a christian, an educator, and civic leader. In 1966 he received the Fort Valley State College Distinguished Service Award. As a result of his fruitful life he continues to live through the lives of his loving wife, Mrs. Annie H. Epps, his six devoted children, his ten robust grandchildren, and a host of sympathetic nephews, neices, cousins, and friends.
