E. Howard, Pastor Officiating hituartl Mr. Willie Usher Elder was born May 25, 1922 in Morgan County to the late Effie Lee Malcolm and William Tuggle Elder. He joined First Saint Paul at an early age and remained a faithful member until his death. He later married Mary Ethel Thomas on December 14, 1940, and to this union of fifty-seven years, six sons were born, Willie, Robert, Crosby, Anthony, Artornya and the late Freddie Lee Elder. He retired from Williams Brothers Company. Mr. Elder leaves to mourn his passing, wife, five sons; two daughters-in-law; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister; and a host of other relatives and friends.
