Bodie on August 21 , 1983. Before changing his name to John Edward Edmonds, Edward was adopted by his family in April of 1992. Edward leaves his partner Sarah Robinson and son Devontay John Edmonds. After surviving his mother Virginia (Patterson) Edmonds, who left this life in July 1997, Edward leaves his father Mathus Edmonds of Mashpee; nine brothers, Isaiah Edmonds of Reading, Pa., Roger, David, Ray, Stephen and Peter Edmonds, all of Worcester, Melvin Edmonds of Atlanta, Ga., James Edmonds of North Carolina and Christopher Bodie of Connecticut; four sisters, Sandra Edmonds of Indianapolis, Ind., Emma Nelson and Natasha Rodriquez of Worcester, and Tracy Edmonds of Boston, Ma. Edward also leaves a vast host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles by whom he will be deeply missed.
