MR ROY LEE ECTOR was born April 15, 1931 to the late Mr. Joddie Ector and Ms. Sally Elizabeth Blackmon in Troup County, LaGrange, Georgia. He received his education in Troup County Schools. 
He moved to Atlanta, Georgia at an early age. He was employed with Dixon and Tom-A-Toe, Inc. for 38 years. He retired in 1993. 
He leaves to cherish his memory five daughters, Dorothy Dixon, Carolyn Ector, Mr. & Mrs. James (Rosalyn) Hodgens, Tiffany Ector, Mrs. Cynthia Gory; two sons, Mr. Roderick Lee Ector and Mr. Michael Smith; six grandsons, two granddaughters, three greatgrandchildren; two brothers, Nathan Jackson and Willie E. Jackson; two sisters, Veda L. Charlston and Margaret Jackson; one brotherin-law, Mr. Green Tucker and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends . 
God called you home at the twinkling ofan eye. We had prayedfor a little more time to say goodby. 
A million times we needed and criedfor you. 
If loving you could have saved you, you would never have died. 
Death is a heart ache that no one can heal. Memories are something that no one can steal.
