Atlanta, Georgia The Reverend Charles Adams Officiating hituar~ Ida Mae Sams Duke (Mother Duke) was born October 9, 1906 in Cochran, Georgia to the late Mrs. Lula Duncan and the late Frazier Sams. Later, she moved to Atlanta at an early age. She was married to the late Willie Duke (WD). Later in life, she accepted Christ as her saviour under the leadership of Reverend Artisan. Mrs. Duke departed this life on September 30, 1999. She leaves to cherish her memory, sister, Mrs. Mattie L. Barner; two nieces, Debra A. Barner and Barbara Jackson; three nephews, Rudolph Barner, Sr., Frank Jackson, and Gabriel Hoskins, Jr.; two great-nieces, six great-nephews; dear friends, Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Goglia and family; and a host of other relatives and friends. You are not forgotten loved one, Nor will you ever be As long as life and memory last We will remember thee.
