He was the oldest of this union and a man who truly adored his wife. That Union produced two lovely children; Janice Elaine and John (Jeffery) Crawford Jr. He was educated in Muscogee County School system after which he enlisted In the United States Army serving as a "Cook". After returning home he met and married his beautiful and loyal sweetheart Rosie "Nell" Roebuck. This marked a new beginning and relocation to Atlanta, GA where he worked for the State for many years. John was known throughout the community and family for his witty and uplifting personality. He would often reflect on his past experiences and share his wisdom and knowledge relating to today's time. He remained a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all until his untimely departure on 03 November, 2007. His wonderful humor and charm will truly be missed. John leave to cherish his memories; loving and devoted wife Rosie "N" Roebuck, one son John Thomas (Dawn) Crawford and one daughter Janice (Lonnie) McWilliams who loved him unconditionally, two brothers: Harry (Denise) Crawford of Cataula, GA; Jerome (late Varnell) Crawford of Jonesboro, GA. Two sisters: Brenda (Mantion) Williams of Albany, GA and Belinda Martin of Columbus, GA. One Aunt: Beatrice Lewis (Aunt B). Four Grandchildren: Makieta, Kayla, Jessie, and Richard. Four Great Grandchildren: Brucello, Brukieta, Curterria, Currine. Eight Sister-n-law: Annie Johnson of Hartwell, GA, Bertha Maddox of Atlanta, GA, Lula (Jimmy) Lewis of Atlanta, GA, Johnny (Cliff) Gresham of Conley, GA, Jewel Crummie of Atlanta, GA, Betty (Clyde) Thompson of Marietta, GA, Doris (Tim) Cole of A~anta, GA.
