Gary Lewis Obiluaf1 Dellerree was born June 16, 1938 in Charleston, South Carolina. She eventually moved with her grandparents and graduated from Baptist Hill High School. After graduation she moved to New York with her cousin, Willie Mae Bailey until she married in 1969. She lived in New York State most of her life and attended C. W. Post College where she received her B.S. in Sociology in 1978. She then began her career with the U.S. Government for over 28 years. In April 2001, Dellerree, Bonnie and Persephone moved to Fayetteville, Georgia. Recently she raved about her new community, which she adored. She loved spending time with her family and traveling, especially to family gatherings in her hometown of Charleston. A daughter, Pamela, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Bonnie; daughter, Persephone; two grandchildren, Jeremiah and Aria; 8 sisters, Veronica, Cara Mae, Ethyl, Ernestine, Baby Lee, Mary, Gail and Mickey; 3 brothers, Hugh, Michael and Tom; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins that live throughout the country, primarily on the East Coast.
