1915 in Morgan County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Albert Paggett and Mrs. Eva Pauline Taylor. 
 
Mrs. Lucy B. Collins received her education in the Morgan County Public School System. After moving to Atlanta, she met and was united in holy matrimony to the late William Henry Collins. To this union one daughter was born. 
 
Mother Collins joined Israel Baptist Church in 1967, under the present leadership of Reverend William Smith. While a member of Israel Baptist, Mother Collins served faithfully on the Mother Board and The Usher Board Number Two, until her health would not allow her to attend. 
 
Those who kne':V and loved Mother Collins will always remember her favorite hobby, gardening. Mother Collins' beautiful flowers and care ~ade her garden one of the nicest in the community. Mother Collins also enjoyed caring for children including family members and friends in the neighborhood. At the Nursing Home the staff remembers that Mrs. Colllins did not use a lot of words but often when she did speak only two words would be spoken- "Glory, Glory", for Mrs. Collins was constantly giving God praise. 
 
Mother Lucy B. Collins entered into eternal rest on March 25, 1998. 
 
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clarion Bryant (Martha) of Canoga, California; two granddaughters, Nikita L. Bryant and Johanette Brooks; one grandson, Mr. and Mrs. Attmad E. Bryant of Germany; great granddaughters, Chantae T. Bryant and Jordanne C. Bryant and a host of other relatives and friends.
