Sarah met and married Gideon Coe November 16, 1946; and from this union came Patricia and Miriam. Sarah and Gideon resided in Philadelphia until 1965, then moved to Berlin, New Je rs ey. Sarah was baptized at an early age in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Philadelphia und er the pastorship of Rev.. D. W. Harvey. She moved her membership to Robinson Chape l Baptist Church, Philadelphia, Pa. After moving t" Berlin, she joined First Baptist Church, Florence, New Jersey und e r the pastcrrship of Rev. A. P. Myers. She -<; serv e d on the senior choir and served faithfully until sh e b e c am e i] 1. .!"__ - ~ - ~~ ~..... \._; \~ Sarah was employed at the Crown Can Comp't1~y in Philadelphia, Pa. for several years. She worked for the United States Gov.ernment at the Signal Corps. She was also emp loy ed by -Mrs.; Smith in Braddox, New Jersey . . Sarah leaves to mourn: Her husband, Gideon Coe, Jr.; two daughters, Patricia Ham and Miriam Coe; one son-inlaw, Kenneth Hjp1; two grandchildren, Kenji and Patrice; one brother, Garrett R. Bates of Richmpn~, Virginia; nine sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who lov~ her.
