Minister Linda Cobb was born on November 25, 1951 in Newton County. She was the 
second of four children born to Mrs Julia W. Clements and Mr. Willie H. Smith. 
After confessing her faith m Christ at an early age. Minister Cobb joined Mt. Olive Baptisl Church in Covington Georgia. She was married to the late Mr. Herman Reid and unto this union three children were born, Harriett, Markus and Quevas. She later married Mr. Robert Lee Cobb on July 2, 2000. Robert and Minister Cobb served diligently at Mt. Olive Baptist Church and she was called into the Ministry in 2002, to serve as a soldier on the battlefield 
for the Lord. She preactled many Sermons to include:"The Anointing", "A No Name Woman" and 
"Guilty or Not Guilty''. Through every message, she touched many hearts. Minister Cobb was employed at Snapping Shoals EMC for sixteen years until her health failed her in April 2004. Her brother Mr. Huel Smith preceded her in death in September 1993. 
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband Mr. Robert Lee Cobb, mother, Mr.& Mrs Jessie (Julia) Clements, lather. Mr. & Mrs. Willie H. Smith, daughter. Mr. & Mrs. Cedric (Harriett} Wooten. sons, Mr. Markus Reid and Mr. Quevas Reid, stE:p children, Mr. Anthony Cobb, Mr. & Mrs Stockey (Deborah) Morris, Ms. Sylvia Sims, Mr. & Minister Rufus (Tina) Baker, Mr. & Mrs. Kerr.y Lee Cobb, Mr. & Mrs. Gary Sims, Ms. Miranda Gail Ponder, Mr. & Mrs. Clarence (Diane) Boyd, sisters; Ms. Vanessia Weaver and Mr. & Mrs. Clifford (Michelle) McKnight. step brothers. Mr..James Gude and Mr. Odell Gude, grandchildren, Tenaya, Travaris, Tiffany, Tamyia. Shawana and LaOuevas, twenty five step grandchildren, 
nine step great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law. Ms. Earnestine Cobb, Mrs. Barbara Ann Brock, a devoted friend, Mrs. Rita Bell, a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other 
relatives and friends . 
On Friday September 10, 2004 her life on earth came to a close. leaving us a legacy to remember and uphold. She has now found a resting place wi'th God.
