Clausell. Deacon Clausell was born on July 23, 1916 to Mary and Stephen Clausell of ~~nroeville, Alab~a. He accepted Christ at an early age and JOined Bethel Baptist Church where he served faithfully as a member and deacon for many years. Deacon Clausell married Christina McCorvey on December 1, 1946 and to that union, five children were born. He was an industrious and hard-working man. He was employed as a mechanic and body repairman at several local businesses in Monroeville for many years and worked at Arvin Industries and Bethel Baptist Church. He VIaS preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Mary Clausell, one sister, Caldonia Clausell, and two brothers Aaron and James Clausell. Immediate family members that remain to celebrate his life are his wife of 53 years; Christina McCorvey Clausell, Monroeville, AL; two sons, Herbert D. Clausell (Dorothy), Monroeville, AL and Phillip A. Clausell (Dallas), Minneapolis, MN; three daughters; Betty J. Bickley (Roland), Monroeville, AL, Delois Hollinger and Angela Clausell, Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Hattie Holt, Monroeville, AL; a brother, Charles Clausell (Pauline), Monroeville, AL; eight grandchildren and one great -grandchild.
