He was called from labor to reward on January 10, 2006. He joined Shoal Creek Baptist Church at an early age. He leaves behind a loving & devoted wife, Karen Mannings Clark; a caring mother, Mrs. Lula Bell Clark; and a devoted mother-in-law, Marva Mannings. "Junebug" was a loving and devoted father who valued his family above anything else. He will always be remembered for his kind heart, and his extraordinary sense ofcompassion that touched so many lives. His presence will forever be missed. He was predeceased by his son, Leonard "Little Junebug" Swinger, and one brother, Freddie Frank Mitchell, Sr. He also leaves behind a legacy ofthirteen (13) children, Loretta, Antonio, Marsha, Anthony,Kimberly,Brian, DeCarlos,Teresa, Tracy, Willie James, III, Marcus,Marva, and Jerel; seven(7) sisters, Mr. &Mrs. Charles Jackson (Mae), Mr. & Mrs. Gailden Laster (Annie), Mr. & Mrs. John Henry Dowdle (Carolyn), Ms. BlossomThomas, Ms. Dianna Lee, Ms. Gloria Robinson, and Mr. & Mrs. Barton Tanner (Janice); two (2) brothers, Mr. & Mrs. Wren Emanuel Clark and Mr. & Mrs. Randolph Clark; a very special goddaughter, Deshune Watkins-Heard. He also leaves behind one (1) uncle, Douglas Whatley; two (2) aunts, Ethel White and Edna Leaks; and a host ofgrandchildren, nieces, nephews; cousins, and friends. t.Fa.t/ier - when I felt lost, you were there.
