Professionally, Mama retired June 29, 1988 from DeKalb Medical Center as a recognized Nursing Assistant in the hospital's nursery. At Wai-Mart she was recognized for bringing customers back into the store in a special way. Mothers who delivered babies at the hospital recognized her and returned to the store so she could see the children as they grew up. In the community Mama was known as "Mrs. l.C.", as she lovingly supported Daddy's dream of having a restaurant-l.C.'s Rib Shack. At the Rib Shack she provided excellent customer service and ' "picked the collard and turnip greens". Mama was always an active member of the PTA as she supported and encouraged the many activities of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, ' and the children of her friends. Mama was preceded in death by our Grandparents, our Daddy, and our Aunts and Uncles: Donald and Prudence Arnold Bussey, laNorman and Dalue Bussey, Ashful and loraine Bussey Cato, Mose and Eva Bussey Rogers, Jeff and Maggie Sue Bussey, Evelyn Bussey, James and Florrie Davis Bussey, Owen and lessie Bussey Garrett, Moses Edward Bussey, Joseph Bussey, and Ruth Bussey long.
