 The sun rose on July 3D. 1935. when God blessed the late Jessie and Mariah Brewer with a precious daughter. Katie Ruth. 
Katie Ruth was born and raised in laFayette. Alabama. She dedicated her life to the lord and at an early age she joined little Friendship Baptist Church and remained a member for 42 years. 
Katie Ruth married the late Jack Carr. She was a devoted mother. grandmother and great grandmother until the sun went down on July7, 2012 and the lord called her home. Her family believe that she truly fought a good fight, that she finished her course. she kept the faith, thus being ready to enter the Kingdom of God. 
She leaves to cherish her memories. four (4) sons; Randy (Faye) Brewer. Roylee Brewer. Donald Brewer and Jerome Brewer. two (3) daughters; Judy (Jasper) Harris, lisa Brewer and Brenda Brewer who ( preceded her in death); one sister. Mary Frazier. eleven (II) grandchildren; U'Joshua Brewer. Sharon Brewer. Joseph Brewer. Tasha Brewer. Keisha Brewer. Paige Brewer. Diablo Brewer. Anton Richardson. JaQuanna Steed. Alexia Brewer and Malik Gandy and thirteen (13) Great-grandchildren. and a host of nieces. nephews and friends.

0 my Mother. you are here no more. For Iknow you are on the other shore. 
The 7th day of the month of July, You took one last breath nothing no one could do. You often complained of pain in your chest. you were tired, So tired, Iunderstand you had to take your rest. It might be selfish of me to still want you here. To be by your bedside so you will know I'm near, 
But Iknow that Ihave to let you go, For now you are in heaven bliss. Istill have to let you know this one thing. Katie Carr. you will be missed.
