Crawford, Sr., Senior Pastor Officiating hitmtr~ Mr. William Thomas Brown, Jr., affectionately known as "Tom" , was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 14, 1953 to the late William T. and Sallie Rose Brown . He departed this life on June 24, 1999 at Piedmont Hospital. He was a lifelong member of Central United Methodist Church where he served as an usher. He received his early education in the Atlanta pubic schools, and also attended Boylan-Haven-Mather Academy (BHMA) in Camden, South Carolina. His post-secondarystudies were done at Howard University and Atlanta Junior College where he received his Associate degree in Criminal Justice. He was a member of the Groove-Phi-Groove Social Fraternity. He served as a volunteer coach with Little League Baseball. Employed with Delta Airlines for nearly twenty years, Tom held several positions; his most recent was Back-Up Coordinator, Department 653-lrregular Operations. Tom married his high school sweetheart, Georgia Fashion in 1981. To this union, three terrific children were born: Thomas Ryan, Desmond, and Rosie. He was a faithful and very supportive husband and father and will sorely be missed by his family, community, church, co-workers , and friends. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Georgia; three children, Thomas Ryan, Desmond Alexander, and Rosalind SaIethia; mother-in-law, Mrs. Alethia S. Fashion, Moncks Corner, South Carolina; two sisters-inlaw, Veronica (Isaac) Smalls, Downington, Pennsylvania, and Olympia Jenkins; one brother-in-law, Keith (Phyllis) Fashion, Moncks Corner, South Carolina; devoted stepmother, Mrs. MargueriteS. Brown; grandmother, Mrs. Mary Lou Snowden, Jacksonville, Florida; aunts, Mrs. Rhunell Williams, Mrs. Latrelle Scott, Mrs. Margie (Howard) Roberts, Mrs. Juanita Henderson, Mrs. Lori Wiggs, Jacksonville, Florida; other aunts and uncles; seven very close first cousins, Gloria Scott, Nelta (Richard) Morton, Hiram (Fern) Scott, Arleton Williams, Aurelia Jordan, Marita (Antonio) Harrell, and Howard Roberts, Jr.; one niece, three nephews, one grandniece, and a host of other relatives and friends.
