White - Officiating - ftttuarp Jn 1\ttr..-pect Such was the quiet passing of Jesse Broughton, Jr., who took his earthly leave Friday, February 26, 1993 in Atlanta, Ga. He was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Jesse Broughton, Sr., born June 20, 1941 in Decatur, Ga. He was educated in the public schools of DeKalb County and graduated from Trinity High School In 1959. He later married Shirlene Freeman of Tucker, Ga., to this union four sons I were born. He became a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church of Decatur, Ga. He was employed by Alterman's Food, where he was a devoted employee for seventeen years. He later was employed my Emory University where he worked faithfully until his demized. He was a hard working man who loved his family dearly. He will be dearly missed by his loving an devoted wife of thirty years (Shirlene Freeman Broughton); and four sons, Franklin, Terrence, Michael and Fernad Broughton; one brother, Mr. and Mrs. (David) Broughton; three sisters, Mr. & Mrs. Marcus (Betty) Myrick, Mr. & Mrs. Ralph (Ruth) Walls; (In-Laws) Frances and Andrew Hicks; three grand children, And A Host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt, uncles and friends "There A Reaso11" For every pain that we nzust bear, For every burden, every care, There A Reason For every grief that lowers the head, For every iear drop that is shed There A Reason For every hurt, for every plight, For every lonely pain-rocked night.
