MRS. PAULINE "Big Baby" JOHNSON BRISBON was born 
in Darlington County on February 3, 1901, a daughter of the late 
 
Webster and Ella Swinton Johnson. She entered the final resting place 
 
on Wednesday evening, January 9, 1991 in Wilson Hospital after a long : illness. 
 
She attended the Darlington County public schools. _ 
 
At an early age she joined Centersville A. M. E. Church. 
 
In 1930, she moved to Philadelphia, there she connected herself to the Conerstone Baptist Church, and remained a faithful member until she 
 
returned to Darlington County in 1970 and then resumed her member- 
 
ship at Centersville A. M. E. Church until her passing. 
 
On December 25, 1921, she was united in marriage to the late Robert 
Brisbon. To this union a son was born, the late Robert Brisbon, Jr. 
 
PAULINE, was a quiet Christian Lady. She lived a quiet life and 
 
will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors left to cherish her memory are: four grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Connie Brisbon of Philadelphia, Pa.; two sistersin-law, Mrs. Lula and Cathrine Herb both of New York; four brothers- 
 
in-law, George and H . B. Brisbon both of Philadelphia, Pa., Henry Brisbcn of New York and Allen Brisbon of Hartsville, S. C.: a devoted 
 
niece, Mrs. Naomi Bostic (with whom she lived); several other nieces, 
 
nephews, grand and great grand nieces and nephews and other relatives 
 
and friends.
