Harris Bridges, age 98, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on February 10,2013 at Piedmont Hospital. Thelma was hom in Clayton County, Georgia on December 20, 1914 to Joseph Sam and Lunnie Bell Harris, the fifth of thirteen children. She was married to Raymond Leo Bridges, Sr. They were married for 49 years until his death in 1984. Thelma was a homemaker and a talented seamstress. She enjoyed ~:1!!!!!::::!::::!1 sewing, cooking, entertaining her family, and witnessing for Jehovah throughout the city of Atlanta. On December 1, 1957 she symbolized her dedication to Jehovah God by being baptized as one ofJehovah' Witne se and faithfull) served Jehovah until her death. Thelma is survived by four of her five children: Tommy C. Bridges of Union City, G , Gwendolyn Springer of College Park, GA, Barbara F. Douglas of Smyrna, G and Raymond (Dorothy) Bridge , Jr., of tlanta, GA, ten grandchildren: Phyllis A. Clemons, Jennifer Y. Freeman Jeffrey Freeman, Veleta (Lamar) Holland, Darryl (Robin) Bridges, Kirven Bridges, Eugene(Renee) Teague, Tommy (Dewona) Bridges, Jr., ean (Charity) Bridges and Dezirae (M:elvin) Dandy, one brother, Willie Harris, two sisters, Jessie Harri and Hazel Harris. he wa blessed with two additional generations of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren rueces nephew , other family and many many friend .
