Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they cornfort ffJe. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence C?f mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

 OBITUARY 
Mrs. Mamie Clark Brantley was born in Dublin, Laurens County, Georgia to the parents of the late Rev. and Mrs. Allen Clark. She grew up and attended the public schools there. At an early age she confessed a hope in Christ and joined Howard Chapel United Methodist Church. 
She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Virgil Brantley. To this union two sons were born. After moving to Macon in 1940, she became an active member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church. 
She leaves to mourn her passing: a devoted husband, Virgil Brantley; two sons, Willie J. Brantley and Carl E. Brantley both of Macon; one grandson, Darron C. Brantley of Macon; two granddaughters, Greta Y. Brantley of Macon and Carla Brantley of Irwinton, NJ; one daughter-in-law, Ella F. Brantley; two great grandchildren; two devoted sisters-in-law, Mrs. Miller Clark of Dublin and Mrs. Dorothy Brantley of Macon; a host of nieces and nephews including Roosevelt Clark of Dublin, Rosalyn Clark Gray of Atlanta, Tincy Hopkins of Philadelphia and Essie Van Ness of Utica, NY.
