Our brother was lost to us, taken from us, ifyou will, however, his spirit reigns and his light yet shines bright in our hearts, mind and spirit. "Brother Ro" passed on from fatal injuries sustained subsequent from the ungodly and horrific circumstances of a violent crime.(Circumstances that plague our communities.) "Brother Ro" was born in Kingston Jamaica on May 30, 1985. As a young pickney, he enjoyed frolicking about in the countryside community of his upbringing, "Ten Mile" , a small community nestled in the city of Kingston. As a child he enjoyed playing with his brothers and sisters as well as cousins, enjoying the beauty of the island sun. Brother Ro participated in many activities that shaped and developed his humble and hardworking nature that we came to know him as in manhood. He was educated at Brooks Level Basic School and Stoney Hill All Grade School. "Brother Ro", with his family, migrated to the US, Atlanta, GAin 1995. He matriculated through the Dekalb County School System where he graduated from McNair High School. Brother Ro was an earnest hardworking man. He was honest in his doings, and upright with all that came before him: truly a Brother's Keeper. From feeding the homeless, to a kind word of Blessings to a stranger; his heart was always centered to uplift others fainting to consider himsel Brother Ro lived a life ofsupplication, in a continuous effort to find his way to his anointed destiny, always seeking and honoring the word of God. Brother Ro was a family man, always placing his family, and most certainly his dear mother, The Assured Love ofHis Life, as he never joined in union to a wife. Brother Ro enjoyed interacting and playing youthful games and activities with his nieces and nephews and all children that came before him as he never fathered a child. His youthful and jovial spirit brought excitement, and laughter to many young people. As he crosses the Jordan River, never to return again, I know he'll be there, I know he'll be waiting, with that charismatic smile and laughter upon his face, taking us by the hand, helping us off the embankment of that Jordan River, saying Blessings, Welcome My Brother. ..
