By: Roderick Cotton Loving 9rtotlier 1:/ie 06ituary Ms. Marcia Lynn Barton left her earthly home to join her Lord and Savior in her heavenly home on May 24, 2011. She was born on May 10, 1957 in Rome, Georgia to the union of Mr. James Barton and Mrs. Elizabeth Barton. Lynn as she was affectionately called, graduated from Cass High School in 1974. She held many jobs over the years, and her last employment was at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Georgia. She was a longtime member of New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. She loved cooking, gardening, shopping and buying gifts and greeting cards for her family and friends. Lynn loved her children and family very much! She always graced you with her warm smile. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. and Mrs. James G. Barton; one sister, Terrie Barton; two brothers, James Edward and Felton Barton; and one nephew, Ronnie Barton. She leaves to cherish her lovely memories: three sons, Roderick Cotton and Demaurio Barton of Kingston, Georgia and Brandon Barton of Los Angeles, California; six sisters, Louise Wells and Betty James of Cartersville, Georgia, Martha McConnell (James) and Brenda Barton of Atlanta, Georgia, Grace Grimes and Gladys Barton of Kingston, Georgia; Fiancee, Edward (Butch) Ransom and his daughter, Sophia Winston; godchildren, Kamari, Kashyia and Fancie; one uncle, Henry (Bertha) Barton of Rome, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 1:/ie 06ituary PROCESSIONAL Order ofService SELECTION ..............................................................................
