God Knew how much I was suffering, 
He saw I was putting up a good fight! 
He said Suffer little children, come unto me, 
I will give you rest, I know what is right. 
He came and put my ticket in my hand, 
And said no more suffering, no more pazn. 
Come on home to y our mansion in heaven, 
You have a lot to gain. 
I fought a little harder, I wasn 't ready to go. 
God knew what was bestfor me.

1.950 - 2007 
Mr. Harvey Barton was born in Kingston, GA February 20, 1950 to Mr. Henry Barton and Mrs. Bertha Hall Barton. In 1959, he moved to Rome, GA with his family and resided there until his death. He attended Main and Pepperell High Schools. He worked as a construction worker most of his life. He is a member of "Lovejoy Baptist Church". 
He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents Mr. Henry and Bertha Barton. Three daughters: Dianne Satterfield (Terry), Brandy Barton and Carrie Allen. Two sons: Tony Barton and Chris Talmadge. He also is survived by his former wife Joann Holmes. Four brothers: Calvin Barton, Jackie Barton, Warren Barton (Kathy) all of Rome, GA and Danny Barton (Lisa) of Atlanta, GA. One Uncle: Rev. Moses Hall (Clarice) ofDayton, Ohio. Two Grandchildren: Vantriska and Fay and a host of Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
