"How Fast He Slept" 
Mr. L. Sharif Bahar departed this life February 1, 2004. God ended a brave struggle and carried a beloved husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. 
Sharif was born November 25, 1949 to Johnny B. Kelson and Rosie Lee Kelson (his mother preceded him in death). 
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Vanessa D. Bahar; two sons, Nasakeli Bahar, Hassan Bahar; two daughters Arlene Thompson and Donova Barnes both of Ohio; father, Johnny Kelson; stepmother, Zettie B. Kelson; four grandchildren, Krystyn T. Flanagan, Anthony Armstrong, Marcellous Bahar and Jayla Bahar; brothers, Willie Kelson, Riley Kelson (preceded him in death), Robert Kelson, Johnny Kelson, Jr., Terry Kelson; sisters, Janie Robinson, (Warren, OH), Lois Woods (Washington D.C.) and Carol Brown (Warren, OH); a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

When the world saw us as broken glass you saw a time for change.....a release from pain. 
Often wrapped up within our own struggles We ignored your battle with the eternal 
Showing signs of the inevitable. Right up until the day You took your last breath. But now what's left is the mark 
you left Both upon our minds and hearts. Throughout our travels, we feel your strength and guidance. Knowing your infinite wisdom remains with us every step. 
But for now ... We bid you Peace in eternal sleep And for the love of you we shall not weep. You are Forever
