Description
This collection contains digitized copies of the campus newspaper of the Georgia Health Sciences University, formerly known as the Medical College of Georgia. The Beeper began on November 12, 1980, volume 1, issue 1. It suspended publication in April 1990, ending with volume 12, issue 5, March 22, 1990. When it resumed publication in June 1990, it began anew with the volume numbers. On September 21, 2011 volume 21, issue 18 was the last issue of The Beeper. It merged into what is now called The Connection. The Beeper was published biweekly and distributed throughout the GHSU campus and MCG Health, Inc.
