Evans \nand Robert W. Walton duly constituted administrators \nupon the Estate of James H. Walton deceased \nof the one part, and Peyton D. Hill Trustee of \nMrs. Mary A. Evans of the other part, all of said \nState and County, Witnesseth, that whereas by virtue \nof an order granted by the Ordinary of said County \nprevious notice of application having been given \narguably [?] to the Statute in such cases [?] made and \nprovided to the said Clement A. Evans \u0026 Robert W. Walton \nadministrators as aforesaid to sell the negroes belong- \ning to the Estate of said James H Walton deceased, and \nthe same were advertised in Conformity to law there \nbeing among said negroes one negro boy by the name \nLevi of dark complexion and about nineteen years \nof age, and a negro girl, by the name of Harriet \nand about Twelve years of age, the said two \nnegroes were put up and exposed to sale, separately \nat the Court house door, at Lumpkin in said \nCounty, between the legal hours of Sale on the first \nTuesday of this present month of April by the said \nAdministrators, when the said Two negroes were knocked \noff to the said Mary A. Evans, through her Trustee the said \nPeyton D. Hill, at the sum of Eighteen hundred and \nforty dollars, that being the highest bid. Now for \nand in Consideration of the said sum \nof Eighteen Hundred and forty dollars \npaid to the said Clement A Evans \u0026 Robert W. \nWalton administrators aforesaid at and before the \nSealing and delivery of these presents \nthe receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged \n \n[002] \n \nthe said Clement A. Evans and Robert W \nWatton administrators as aforesaid hath \ngranted, bargained and sold, and by these presents \ndo grant, bargain and Sell, unto the said Peyton \nD. Hill, for the sale and separate use, benefit and \nadvantage, in trust for the said Mary A. Evans \nfeme covert and wife of the said Clement A. Stephens \ndeceased, late of said County, was exhibited in open Court and in common form of Law proved \nand admitted to Record, a copy of which is hereunto annexed and administration of all and singular the goods, chattels; \nrights, credits and lands of said deceased was granted to Alexander H.
