Poole being of sound \nmind but aware of the uncertainty of life \ndo hereby make constitute ordain and \npublish this my last will and testament in \nManner \u0026 form to wit - \n1 Item I bequeath my body to the dust and \nMy Soul to God, who give it \n2 Item I desire that my body by decently \ninterred. And that all my just debts be \npaid \n3rd. I bequeath to my beloved wife Charlotte \nPoole for and during her natural life \nthe following property to wit One Negro \nwoman named Rose Yellow complexion \none bureau known as her bureau Two \nbeds \u0026 furniture two Cows and Calves \n1 Set of Chairs and one Table and \nTwo hundred Dollars All of which \nShe is to have during her life or \nWidowhood \n4 Item I wish my Executors to sell all my \nproperty both real and personal except \nthe above named and the money equally \ndivided among my children to wit Sarah \nSimmons John Florence Elza [?] Wood Martha \nAnn  Mary Ann Enoch Wesly Minerva \nJane Cicero Asbury \u0026 Louie Coke, \nadding in what they have each \nreceived from me heretofore which will \nbe found in a book kept by me for that \npurpose. It being my object to treat them \nall alike \n \n[003] \n \nLETTERS TESTAMENTARY - Examiner Print, Atlanta, [Georgia] \nState of Georgia, \nPaulding County. \n \nTO ALL WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME--GREETING: \nKnow Ye That on the Third day of \nMarch in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and \nSixty two the last Will and Testament of John S. Poole \nlate of Paulding County deceased, \nwas exhibited in open Court, and in common form of law, proved and admitted to record, a copy \nof which is hereunto annexed, and administration of all and singular, the Goods, Chattels and \nCredits of said deceased was granted to [Elizabeth] W. Poole and \nN. N. Beall \nthe executors in and by said Will named and appointed, they having firsttaken the oath, and \nperformed all other requisites required by law, they by order of said Court, and by virtue \nof these presents, legally authorized to administer the Goods, Chattels and Credits of said decea- \nsed, according to the tenor and effect of the said Will and Testament, and according to law; and \nThey hereby required to render a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the Goods, Chat- \ntels and Credits of the said deceased, and appraised and returned to this Court according to law, \nand to render a true and correct account to the said Court of their actings and \ndoings yearly, and every year, until their administration is fully completed. \n \nWITNESS, my hand, as Ordinary, and the Seal of the said Court, this third \nday of March eighteen hundred and [words deleted: fifty] Sixty two \n    [signed] [Silas] B. Poole late of Said \nCounty deceased William F. Meadows \none of the witnesses to said will and \nSaid Will having been brought before \nme for probate of the same by [Elizabeth] \nW. Poole and N. N. Beall the Executors \ntherein named he the said witness \ndepose of the same that he saw saw \nJohn S. Poole Sign and publish \nthe same as his last will and testament \non the day and year therein stated \nAs Executed by him he the said [William] F. \nMeadows Witnessed the same at his \nRequest and in his presence and \nin the presence of Jacob Meadows and \nWilliam B. Turner that the same was \nvoluntarily executed by him while he \nwas of sound mind and memory \n    [signed] [William] F.
