- Newspaper caption attached to print verso idenitfies photographer Charles Jackson: "Walking out -- Employes at Cluett Peabody's Arrow Shirt plant in South Atlanta walked off their jobs Thursday to protest apparel and textile imports from the Far East. About 1,100 members of Local 365, Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America, participated in the demonstration along with some 400,000 of their colleagues in more than a score of U.S. cities. The Atlanta workers braved dark skies and rain to launch a motorcade downtown following the walk-out and a meeting at their union hall." Date-stamped "Mar 20 1970 Journal."
