A bill to amend Article 1 of Chapter 24 of Title 33 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions relating to insurance generally, so as to enact the "Comprehensive Patient and Provider Health Care Relief Act of 1999"; to provide for liability for failure by a health care insurer to provide for medically necessary items or services.

A bill to amend Article 1 of Chapter 24 of Title 33 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to insurance generally, so as to require health insurers to offer comprehensive medical or surgical coverage for the treatment of morbidly obese patients when said treatment is ordered, conducted, or supervised by health care providers specializing in the management of patients so afflicted.

A bill to amend Chapter 33 of Title 43 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, the "Georgia Physical Therapy Act," so as to change the provisions relating to definitions, practice of physical therapy and physiotherapy and use of certain words relating thereto; to provide for informed consent; to change the provisions regarding disciplinary sanctions.

circumstances the court shall be authorized to order

that visitation take place only under supervision.
