UI SEMINAR SET FOR NEXT MONTH IN THOMASVILLE
ATLANTA -- The Georgia Department of Labor's Thomasville Career Center and the Thomas County Employer Committee will co-host a free unemployment insurance seminar next month for employers in the Thomas County area.
The seminar will be held from 8:30-11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 16, at 2551 East Pinetree Blvd. in Thomasville, the site of the career center.
Cathy Bexley of Atlanta, an unemployment insurance analyst in the labor department's Policy and Procedures office, will conduct the seminar.
In addition to other issues surrounding the unemployment insurance system, the seminar will focus on the electronic filing of partial unemployment claims for laid-off workers.
