TELFAIR COUNTY AREA JOB FAIR SET FOR THURSDAY, MAY 25
ATLANTA -- State Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond said today that the Georgia Department of Labor, along with several other area organizations, will sponsor a job fair for youth and adults in McRae next week.
The job fair will be held Thursday, May 25, from 1-7 p.m. at the Telfair Community Service Center on Telfair Avenue in McRae. Other sponsors of the job fair include: the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services, the Department of Technical and Adult Education, the Telfair Housing Authority and the Telfair Chamber of Commerce.
Also, representatives of the local health department will provide health-related information and blood pressure tests.
Openings include full and part-time jobs for professional, technical, managerial, and clerical positions.
Applicants should bring several resumes, dress appropriately, and be prepared to interview.
