SOUTHWEST GEORGIA CAREER FAIR SET FOR STUDENTS IN BAINBRIDGE
ATLANTA -- The Georgia Department of Labor's Bainbridge office and the Southwest Georgia Employer Committee will sponsor a career fair for middle and high school students from four counties in the area.
About 2,500 students from Decatur, Early, Miller, and Seminole counties are expected to attend the career fair Tuesday, Feb. 15, from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at the Decatur County Memorial Coliseum at 1301 East College St. in Bainbridge. About 30 employers are expected to participate in the career fair.
The one-day event will provide students with opportunities to explore career possibilities in business, industry, and government, and to learn about job requirements with various companies. At the same time, employers will have a chance to meet students and tell them about career opportunities in various fields.
