STATE DOL TO HOLD JOB FAIR FOR DOUGLASVILLE MALL ON AUGUST 28
ATLANTA -- The Georgia Department of Labor and Carroll Tech will co-sponsor a job fair next week to fill more than 2,000 jobs for Arbor Place Mall and The Landing at Arbor Place, metro Atlanta's newest shopping mall, scheduled to open in October in Douglas County.
The job fair will be held Saturday, Aug. 28, from 2-8 p.m. at the Carroll Technical Institute's Conference Center at 4600 Timber Ridge Drive in Douglasville, which is located off Interstate 20 West at Exit 9.
Among the 125 retail stores to locate in the mall are Dillards, Sears, Parisian, The Limited and Kirklands, along with many other specialty shops.
Openings include both part-time and full-time jobs, as well as entry level and management positions. Some of the openings include jobs in sales, clerical, stock/warehouse, management/ supervision, customer and food service and security.
Applicants should bring their work history or resume and be prepared to interview.
