PLANS AND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
CHILD FATALITY SYSTEM REVIEW PROJECT
Project Description - The Child Fatality Review (CFR) unit requested an enhancement to their current process to capture Medical Examiners (ME) data for child related deaths in the State of Georgia and have asked for additional reporting capabilities.
Monthly Update - The developer continues coding for the application. The CFR team requested print capability for reports, screen entries and a function to determine duplicate entry of cases.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE EXCHANGE PROJECT (CJEP)
Project Description - CJEP will incorporate the electronic exchanges of information between state and local criminal justice agencies in Georgia and will involve the coordination of multiple agencies and vendor applications. The goals of the project are to create seamless connections between systems, establish a single, consistent architecture adopted to guide all aspects of program implementation and to establish a governance structure that views criminal justice as a statewide community.
Monthly Update - Project development continues. The project team is working with vendors and agencies to support ongoing exchanges in all environments. GTA worked on moving Service Notification to the TEST environment. NotifyCourt v1.7 and CCH Charge Update v1.9 are in production but configuration still needs to be tested/verified before bringing the remaining partners on board. Testing is ongoing in the DEV environment for Sentence Order v1.7. As of 7/23/19, Jail Query v1.14 is live in Bartow County, which makes the exchange complete. Procurement released the SONs with a request for responses due 8/13/19 for Phase 1 Rollout. The team is working to meet the 8/30/19 deadline.
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (CRM)
Project Description - The CRM Application Project will provide a single source of historical interaction with GCIC external customers. The application will give GCIC end users the ability to search, track and report customer interactions throughout GCIC's business units.
Monthly Update - Before testing begins, documents received from GCIC Managers are being reviewed. The Agency Contact MSExcel file is being scrubbed to remove duplicates and is projected to continue through September 2019. A meeting was held with NEC to discuss integration of Integra ID/Image Archive (IA) with the CRM for GBI and Agencies to view and print stored documents.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT & TRAINING
Project Description - The Customer Support Training group provides training in GCIC programs, GCIC applications, GCIC/FBI compliance to criminal justice agencies across the State of Georgia. The group extends the option to receive classroom training or training within an e-Learning environment.

Monthly Update - The trainings completed online and within the classrooms for the month are included in the charts. The LMS Staff handled 165 phone calls, 549 emails, processed 15 crystal reports and managed LMS user account additions.
DEPARTMENT OF DRIVER SERVICES (DDS) - CARD PRODUCTION SERVICES (CPS) Project Description - The Department of Driver Services is working with a new vendor on a card production service. The new system will provide GCIC with a driver's license (DL)/ID photograph when a driver inquiry is performed. The latest image for a DL number will be retrieved by GCIC via a web service call.

Monthly Update - GCIC made a few modifications to the code for in-state DQs and experienced minor issues. GCIC moved out-of-state (NLETS) DQ's with photo request to the new servers; testing was unsuccessful.
GEORGIA APPLICANT PROCESSING SERVICE (GAPS) PROJECT
Project Description - The Georgia Crime Information Center Information Services is seeking to obtain the services of a qualified and experienced vendor to provide an applicant fingerprinting solution that will electronically capture and submit applicant fingerprints to the Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS). In addition, the selected vendor shall handle receiving fingerprint search results and disseminate the results to the requestor.
Monthly Update - The GAPS vendor visited GBI and worked with the NCJ unit to complete a full end-to-end system test to finalize GAPS UAT.
HUMAN RESOURCE (HR) TIMESHEET PROJECT
Project Description - Enhancement of the application used by non-sworn units of the GBI for tracking time.
Monthly Update - The programmer continues to develop the code to meet the requirements for Time Earned.
NATIONAL INCIDENT-BASED REPORTING SYSTEM (NIBRS) PROJECT
Project Description - The National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS) collects data on each single incident and arrest for each offense coming to the attention of law enforcement for which specific facts about each crime is collected. GBI is in the process of replacing the current UCR summary-based system with an application that will collect incident-based data.
Monthly Update - GBI conducted and completed the next phase of GATEST/UAT items which "passed". GBI continues UAT Testing associated with adding Family Violence reports. The first NIBRS publication draft was completed. The vendor provided another (3rd test series) list of items deployed to production with instructions, along with up-to-date Family Violence data numbers with an increase of 11 agencies. GBI is awaiting the FBI's response on any additional law enforcement officers to include in the publication. The vendor is working on non-MSA agencies not included in the MSA's list and changing all MSA's from FBI codes to Georgia (GA) county codes, in addition to working on XML development for GBI.
RAP BACK PROJECT
Project Description - The Rap Back project will provide the ability to receive ongoing status notifications of criminal history activity reported on individuals holding positions of trust. Georgia's Rap Back System will include the retention of applicant fingerprints, the implementation of an FBI Rap Back Subscription on such prints, and the creation of a validation process for authorized entities to manage such subscriptions.

Monthly Update - A meeting was held with all vendors to discuss dependencies across systems to ensure each vendor has the allotted time needed to complete their portion of the project. All parties agreed with the proposed project schedule presented, with minor changes. SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY TOOL (SORT) ENHANCEMENT PROJECT Project Description - Continued enhancements to SORT application to meet the needs of local law enforcement and public. Monthly Update - GBI reviewed and accepted the test plan provided by OffenderWatch. OffenderWatch is re-establishing their test server and IP address; Once established GBI will conduct network connectivity testing.
