EXECUTIVE ORDER

Ordered:
Jim C. Beck, Commissioner of Insurance, was indicted on May 14, 2019, on multiple counts in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia; and
A certified copy of the indictment was transmitted to my office on May 15, 2019; and
The 14-day period following the receipt of the indictment as prescribed by Article II, Section III, Paragraph I of the Georgia Constitution has passed.
Now, therefore, pursuant to the authorityvested in me as Governor of the State of Georgia, ft is hereby
That Attorney General Chris Carr, Commissioner of Agriculture Gary Black, and Commissioner of Labor Mark Butler are hereby appointed as the review commission to determine whether the indictment relates to and adversely affects the administration of the office of Commissioner of Insurance by Jim Beck as required by Article II, Section III, Paragraph I of the Georgia Constitution.
