EXECUTIVE ORDER
BY THE GOVERNOR:

On August 12, 2014, Mr. Edward Ferguson and Mr. Anthony Hill were each shot multiple times as they walked through a neighborhood. Unfortunately, Mr. Ferguson died as a result of his injuries; and
The Adel Police Department, with the assistance of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, conducted an investigation but were unable to generate any solid leads; and
Section 45-12-35 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated provides that the Governor of the State of Georgia is authorized, in his discretion, to offer and cause to be paid a reward for information leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction of a person who has committed a felony.
NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY
That a reward in the amount of $2,000.00 is hereby offered for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the injuries to Mr. Hill and the death of Mr. Ferguson.
