THE STATE OF GEORGIA
EXECUTIVE ORDER

BY THE GOVERNOR:

WHEREAS:

The 1999 Georgia General Assembly passed House Bill 330, which was signed by me on May 3, 1999, as Act 440, and which changes the provisions relating to the Advisory Board to the Center for Trade and Technology Transfer so as to create a distinct Center for Trade and Technology Transfer which shall operate as an economic assistance, information, and technical resource service center; and

WHEREAS: House Bill 330 creates a Board of Directors of the Center for Trade and Technology Transfer and provides that the Governor shall appoint three members to such board;

NOW THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY

ORDERED: That the following persons be, and they are hereby, appointed as members of the Board of Directors of the Center for Trade and Technology Transfer:

IT IS FURTHER

ORDERED:

That the forenamed members shall serve a term of office ending July 1,2001, along with members appointed by the President of the Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Chancellor of the University System of Georgia and the Commissioner of Industry, Trade and Tourism, in accordance with House Bill 330.
