THE STATE OF GEORGIA
EXECUTIVE ORDER

The State of Georgia holds title to and is in possession of 12.087 acres of real property in White County, Georgia (the premises), as described in attached Exhibit "A"; and
The Georgia Department of Transportation intends to construct a new Area 4 headquarters and is desirous of locating its facilities on the premises; and
The Georgia Department of Transportation has funding for the construction of the new Area 4 headquarters in their Fiscal Year 1999 budget; and
By letters dated April 14, 1999, June 4, 1999 and June 4, 1999, all on file in the office of the State Properties Commission, the Department of Natural Resources, Department of Human Resources and North Georgia Mountains Authority respectively agree to relinquish their custodial interests, if any, in the premises and recommend that custody of the premises be placed in the Department of Transportation; and
By letter dated June 1, 1999, the Commissioner of the Department of Transportation requested that custody and control of the premises be placed in the Department of Transportation; and
I have determined that it is in the best interest of the State of Georgia to place custody of said property as described in Exhibit "A" in the Department of Transportation for the intended purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME BY VIRTUE OF THE PROVISIONS OF THE OFFICIAL CODE OF GEORGIA ANNOTATED SECTIONS 50-l 6-61, 50-l 6-l 44, IT IS HEREBY
