THE STATE OF GEORGIA
EXECUTIVE ORDER
BY THE GOVERNOR:
WHEREAS:
The 1999 Georgia General Assembly passed House Bill 696, which abolished the Board of Industry, Trade and Tourism as it existed prior to July 1, 1999, and recreated the Board to establish policy and direction for the Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism on and after July 1, 1999; and
WHEREAS: The Board of Industry, Trade and Tourism shall be composed of one member from each congressional district in this state and nine additional members from the state at large; and
WHEREAS: House Bill 696 was signed by me as Act Number 430 on April 29,1999;
NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY
ORDERED: That, pursuant to House Bill 696, the following persons be and they are hereby appointed as members of the Board of Industry, Trade and Tourism to serve terms of office beginning this date and ending as indicated:
