THE STATE OF GEORGIA
EXECUTIVE ORDER
BY THE GOVERNOR:
WHEREAS:
The State of Georgia holds title to and is in possession of approximately 0.50 of one acre of real property in Richmond County, Georgia (the premises), as described in attached Exhibit "A," now in the custody and control of the Department of Human Resources at the Gracewood State School and Hospital campus; and
WHEREAS: The premises is improved with a small residential structure which has not been in use for over 10 years; and
WHEREAS: The Georgia Forestry Commission operates and maintains the Spirit Creek Environmental Education Center, a portion of which adjoins the premises; and
WHEREAS: By resolution dated January 7, 1999 the Board of the Georgia Forestry Commission requested that custody of the above property be transferred to them for use in
conjunction with the Spirit Creek Environmental Education Center; and
WHEREAS: By resolution dated December 9, 1998, the Board of Human Resources declared the premises surplus to their needs and recommended its custody be transferred to the Georgia Forestry Commission; and
WHEREAS: The State Properties Commission at it's meeting of May 12 1999 approved the transfer of custody of the premises from the Department of Human Resources to the Georgia Forestry Commission; and
WHEREAS: I have determined that it is in the best interest of the State of Georgia to transfer custody of said property as described in Exhibit "A" from the Department of Human Resources to the Georgia Forestry Commission.

NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME BY VIRTUE OF THE PROVISIONS OF THE OFFICIAL CODE OF GEORGIA ANNOTATED, $50-16-61, 50-16-144, IT IS HEREBY
ORDERED: That the custody of the above described property be and the same is hereby transferred from the Department of Human Resources to the Georgia Forestry
