EXECUTIVE ORDER
BY THE GOVERNOR:

Buildings No. OOMS (ROTC Garage) and OOSH (Counselor's Ed. Training Center), at the Augusta State University need to be removed;
In the opinion of Mr. William K. Chatham, Vice Chancellor for Facilities of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, the buildings can no longer be advantageously used by the Augusta State University or the University System of Georgia and should be demolished and removed; and
The Board of Regents at its meeting on November 1O-11, 1998, declared by resolution that said buildings could no longer be used advantageously in the University System and that the demolition and removal of said buildings is in the best interest of the institution and the University System of Georgia; now
I, Roy E. Barnes, Governor of the State of Georgia, acting under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by Georgia Laws, 1935, page 168, do hereby concur in the aforesaid declaration of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia and approve the demolition and removal of the said buildings from the Augusta State University; and it is hereby
That the appropriate staff of the Augusta State University, acting under the approval of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, be and it is authorized and directed to have said buildings demolished and to have all building materials removed from the premises by public

works contract; all said demolition and, if applicable, removal to be performed as expeditiously as possible.
