EXECUTIVE ORDER
BY THE GOVERNOR:
WHEREAS:
The Chief Judge of the Cobb Judicial Circuit has notified me pursuant to Official Code of Georgia Annotated, Section 15-l 8-5(a), that the District Attorney of that Circuit has been disqualified from prosecuting the case of State of Georgia v. Erick Douglas Thomas. et al., Superior Court of Cobb County, Criminal Action File Number 9492951-34, if the results of such investigation warrant such prosecution; and
WHEREAS:
The Chief Judge of the Cobb Judicial Circuit has made a requisition for the services of the Attorney General to prosecute this case in accordance with Official Code of Georgia Annotated, Section 15-18-5(a)(3).
N O W, THEREFORE, PURSUA NT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED I N ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, PARTICULARLY BY VIRTUE OF THE PROVISIONS OF THE AFORESAID ACT, IT IS HEREBY
ORDERED:
That the request of the Chief Judge of the Cobb Judicial Circuit is approved and the Attorney General is directed to prosecute the case of State of Georgia v. Erick Douglas Thomas. et al., Superior Court of Cobb County, Criminal A&ion File Number 949295 l-34, if in the Attorney General's judgment such , prosecution is warranted.
