THE STATE OF GEORGIA
EXECUTIVE ORDER
BY THE GOVERNOR:
WHEREAS:
The Chief Judge of the Cobb Judicial Circuit has notified me pursuant to Official Code o f Georgia Annotated, Section 15-18-5(a), that the District Attorney of that Circuit has been disqualified from prosecuting the case of State of Georgia v. David Monroe Crankshaw, Superior Court of Cobb County, if the results of such investigation warrant such prosecution; and
WHEREAS:
The Chief Judge of the Cobb Judicial Circuit has made a requisition for the services of the Attorney General to prosecute this case in accordance with Official Code of Georgia Annotated, Section 15 18-5(a)(3).
NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, PARTICULARLY BY VIRTUE OF THE PROVISIONS OF THE AFORESAID ACT, IT IS HEREBY
ORDERED:
That the request of the Chief Judge of the Cobb Judicial Circuit is approved and the Attorney General is directed to prosecute the case of State of Georgia v. David Monroe Crankshaw, Superior Court of Cobb County, if in the Attorney General's judgment such prosecution is warranted.
