THE STATE OF GEORGIA
EXECUTIVE ORDER

BY THE GOVERNOR:

WHEREAS:

Under the provisions of House Bill 751, which was passed by the Georgia General Assembly and signed into law by me on April 2, 1998 as Act Number 702, there is created the Board of Trustees of the Georgia Judicial Retirement System which shall be the successor to the BOftfd of Trustees of the Superior Court Judges Retirement System, the Board of Trustees of the Trial Judges and Solicitors Retirement Fund, and the Board of Trustees of the District Attorneys' Retirement System; and

WHEREAS:

The Board of Trustees of the Georgia Judicial Retirement System shall be composed of all the members of the Board of Trustees of the Employees' Retirement System of Georgia and three additional members who are to be appointed by the Governor, each of whom shall be either a superior court judge, a state court judge, a district attorney, a state court solicitor-general. or a juvenile court judge; and

WHEREAS: Two of the members appointed by the Governor shall be appointed for initial terms of two years and one of the members shall be appointed for an initial term of four years, and such terms shall be effective July 1, 1998;

NOW, TiffiREFORE, PURSUANT TO Tiffi AUTHORITY VESTED IN :ME AS GOVERNOR OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY

ORDERED: That the following persons are appointed as members of the Board of Trustees of the Georgia Judicial Retirement System for terms of office as indicated below:
