Statement of Governor Perdue Regarding Senate Passage of his Ethics Legislation
Atlanta - Governor Sonny Perdue issued the following statement today regarding unanimous passage of his ethics legislation in the Senate:
"For the second year in a row, the Senate has acted responsibly by passing comprehensive ethics reform. These reforms are needed and expected by the people of this state. I thank the members of the Senate for their bipartisan support, and I urge the House Judiciary Committee to take up this important legislation as soon as possible."
