Governors Perdue, Sanford to Make Major Announcement
ATLANTA Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue and South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford will make a major announcement, TODAY, Monday, March 12, 2007 at 2 p.m.

Directions: Media interested in covering the event should meet at the fireworks stand on Highway 17 near the South Carolina side of the Savannah River bridge NO LATER than 1:30 p.m.
For media coming from Georgia on Highway 17 North, the fireworks stand will be the first structure on the right after passing over the bridge and into South Carolina.
There will be a limited number of vehicles to transport media members to the site of the announcement, which is approximately 2.5 miles from the firework stand. For members of the media looking to follow other vehicles to the news conference site on their own, an SUV or other high ground clearance vehicle is strongly recommended.
