FUTURE FARMERS
OF AMERICA
IT have noted with much pleasure the
splendid work being done by the many
chapters of the Future Farmers of Amer-
ica. | have attended many meetings and
have been especially impressed by the splen-
did manner in which these meetings were
conducted. 5
I have noted with what pone and self-
assurance the various officers of the Future
Farmers of America have conducted their
meetings and realize the wonderful bene-
fit to the farm boys the organization has
proven.
Throughout the war their drive for more.
food and now that peace is here, the splen-
did work they are being taught regarding
better farming and diversified farming is
going to mean much to the state.
Soil erosion, planting of cover crops, bet-
ter dairy herds, better meat cattle, and vari-
ous ways and means of improving the farm
home as well as the farm is being taught
these eager young farmers. :
The various camps of the Future Farmers
of America will do much toward making
Georgia a better farm state and the farm
homes of Georgia a better place in which
to live. I wish to congratulate each member |
of the Future Farmers of America and each
officer and each instructor for the splendid
work which they are doing.
