1e necessity of holding the Bulletin to
ge issues for the present, we will not
ble to publish any Flower and Orna-
tal Nursery stock notices until after
ary. So, please do not submit such
otices until further notice.

Muscadine Grapes
_Muscadine and scuppernong grapes
grown by the new straight trellis method,
carried on at the Georgia Experiment Sta-
tion, Experiment, Ga., bid fair to prove a
crop. If you are interested by all means
write Dr. H. P. Stuckey, Director, Georgia
Experiment Station, Experiment, Ga., and
ask him to send you bulletin No. 197 on
Muscadine Grapes. December is the month
to plant them.
Tobacco |
If you are located in South Georgia
and contemplate planting tobacco in 1939,
you should write S. H. Starr, Director,
Georgia Coastal Plain Experiment. Station
and ask him to send you their bulletins on
the growing of this crop and especially
their circular on how to control blue mold
in the seed bed. It may mean the success
_or failure or your crop.
Try treating your small grain seed
with Ceresan for smut. It will cost you be-
tween two and three cents a bushel.

1939 Program Similar to 1938
Iti is pabeteok that the new 1939 A.
_ A. A. farm program for Georgia and the
rest of the country will be similar to that
of 1938. ae
This program calls for farm acreage
allotments of cotton, tobacco, wheat and,
in designated commercial counties, pota-
toes. Each county in which feed crops or
livestock products are grown for sale also _
will have an allotment of general soil-de-.
pleting crops, which will include acreage ~
devoted to corn, but no farm will have a
separate corn allotment.
